About Shane Peck

Graduated with music honors at Port Angeles High School in Washington; becoming drummer for Vocal Unlimited Jazz Choir and drum line section leader for their marching program in his senior year. Continued with jazz music studies at Cornish College of the Arts in 1987-1988 and 1989-1992, drum instruction with Gary Gibson and ensemble studies with Gary, Hadley Caliman, Julian Priester and James Knapp. Seattle bands Peck has worked with include The Mending Wall, Honey Boy, Jumbalassy, The Iamic, Johnny Astro, Radio Saturn, Laguna, Valerie Joyce, The Nines, Lushy, Gigantor (featuring Lynval Golding of the Specials), Miss Solar System, 80s Invasion, Black Celebration, I-9, Poland, Cleemann, Dweller on The Hill. Pretty Abandoned, Mr. and Mrs. Muffins, Super Jam, The Northwest Symphony Orchestra (Benaroya Hall backing Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, and performances with Alice and Chains and Michael Shrieve).
